The journey of Bayt Al-Zakat in Australia started in 1989 with the launch of the “Orphan Sponsorship” program to sponsor orphans in North Lebanon. Few years later other projects were established aimed to support the poor and needy in North Lebanon: the “Qurban-Adahi” (Sacrificial animals), the "Food Parcels" and other “Ramadhan” projects.
Qurban-Meat Hampers will be distributed to Disadvantaged families in Lebanon and in Various African Countries
